Port Hardy, British Columbia is a small fishing
village located on the north eastern coast of Vancouver Island.
We are the largest community in the region with 5000 residents
and the home to the B.C. Ferries Terminal for service to Prince
Rupert and the Queen Charlotte Islands via the Inside and
Discovery Coast Passage sailing routes. This is an area of
rugged natural beauty surrounded by a lifestyle provided and
enhanced by its proximity to the ocean and the wilderness. One
local describes his town as "something north of ordinary" and
it's easy to see why with the wilderness and Pacific Ocean
meeting to provide an endless supply of adventure and new
experiences.
